Jefferson Loop via Caps Ridge - Castle - The Link - Caps Ridge -
Trail Conditions: The usual mud at the start of the Caps trail. Castle wet in some spots. The link had a little of everything; wet roots and rocks; severe erosion.
Special Equipment Required: Sunscreen...bug dope for parts of Castle and most of The Link
Comments: Adding the Castle and Link to the Caps trip makes a great loop. I don't recommend traveling through the Link in warm weather. Not much of a breeze in there.
