Jigger Johnson Campground... Open question?

USFS website says this campground (first come first serve) is open til Mid-oct. I presume the 24-25th weekend is past Mid-oct? I presume this also means that they close the bathroom/shower facilities?

Any recommendations on other campsites nearby? We're looking at a couple of hikes on the western kanc, (Owl's head) but also looking at doing a Wildcats-Carter-Moriah traverse and also Isolation, so an eastern Kanc campground would be better. A hot shower would be nice..

Not exactly what you are looking for, but the Woodstock KOA is open until 10/31.
