Did Kaaterskill High Peak from Platte Clove. Snowmobile trail well packed by snow machines all the way to the cairn for the turn off. Trail was very deep and very crusty but now well broken to summit and to Hurricane Ledge. We did get a little disoriented leaving the summit for the ledge so one trail go straight to lookout, one bushwackes around to the lookout. Descended same way we came up to further pack it down and avoid getting hard crust in the shins the whole way down. Snowshoes worn the entire day. Warm temps had me in short sleeves for a little while. Up and down in 4.5 hours. 8.4 miles r/t.
