Hi everyone -
I got a pair of Kahtoola 10 point crampons last year for X-Mas. They are aluminum with shorter cleats than most regular crampons. Have used them in easy hikes with great success, but have been reluctant to use them in the mountains. Does anyone have any experience regarding these, including how they would compare against 4-6 point insteps? My hiking would primarily be some of the smaller 4k's in the White Mountains. Many thanks. Marty
