Me and my dog made his 4th ascent of this fine peak. It's really an enjoyable climb, although the eroded section in the first mile is not very pleasant. In regards to the thread on blazes, wow is this trail blazed, they are old mind you, but they are plentiful to say the least. The ledges section in the middle has blazes and arrows all the way through. The tower had multiple parties camping out and I used the privy which is now down to a short two-sided wall. The visibility was pretty much as far as the eye could see. Winter at this altitude is nonexistent and I descended in a T-shirt. It's a nice 6.2 miles with a small punch of 2565 elevation gain. Me and the Boy Wonder are now 26/52 for our 4th round of the 52wav list.

I did it a couple of years ago in the winter. I liked it so much, I did it again a couple of weeks later. I then did it the following summer, and noticed the erosion down low that you mentioned.
