Dry Feet

Wheelerville Rd from Notch Rd was dry and in very good condition for cars. Very minor washboarding starting in spots and a few potholes. Able to maintain 20 to 30 mph along the Rd without any problem.
Bucklin trail in very good condition. Water bars are doing an amazing job keeping the trail dry and stable. A few wet spots and mud in low areas but it was easily to navigate. For the most part the side brush is far enough from trail which is well marked with blue blazes so it is easy to stay dry and on the trail. Those not familiar with trail there are unmarked intersecting trails so be careful.
Killington Spur is a brief rough, rock scramble but was dry and easy to climb up it.
Saw bag hanging from tree near Cooper Lodge and people staying at the tent platfoms. Saw bag on return trip but no people. Not sure if it was litter pickup that someone did around Lodge for summit steward to pack out(?) or something else so I left it alone. Anyhow, if it is still there after the weekend maybe someone will take a closer look.
Cooper Lodge and tent platform sites were clean and in good shape.
Many thanks to the trail crew volunteers and summit steward for their time and effort. Trails are really kept up well.
Stayed on the logs so I kept my feet dry LL!
