Trails: Up Mt Kinsman Trail->Kinsman Ridge Tr -> powerlines->Reel Brook

Trail Conditions: Slushy snow, punching through occasionally. Lots of missing blazes and low branches south of S Kinsman. Many snowbridges were still left, though we had to cross the Eliza Brook near the Eliza shelter by painfully shimmying across a blowdown 20-30' long-- OUCH!

Special Equipment: Snowshoes and waterproof boots (still ended up spilling water out of boots at end!). Sense of humor and patience plus sunscreen - weird in the shorts and snowshoes!!!

Comments: We left a car at the south end of Kinsman Ridge Tr (Beaver Brook TH) with the remote hope we could do the traverse across Mt Wolf. But, a late start, high stream crossings and multiple lost trails made us cut short and cut out at the powerlines (2 miles of brambles and running water) near the Reel Brook Trail, and then roadwalk in the dark up Route 116 for 3 miles back to the car at the north end of the loop. 14.5 miles in 11 hours - but a glorious day, great views, and we weren't benighted!!!! Barely!
