Date of Hike: 1/14/10
Trail Conditions: Well-packed trail was barebootable until about a mile passed Lonesome Lake Hut (though expect some occasional post-holing around the lake). Snowshoes rest of way; several slick parts but easy to go around. Trail easy to follow on ridge; crampons unnecessary. All small blowdowns are cleared, with a couple that are easy to duck under.
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes for ascent after Lonesome Lake and across the ridge. Used MicroSpikes early on for a little traction. Crampons unnecessary.
