Skookumchuck is in good shape. A few short muddy sections, but not bad considering the rain this summer. This is a well hardened trail with significant rock work.
Garfield Ridge Trail to the summit is dry and easy to follow.

A stiff breeze and clouds on the ridge makes an interesting experience. skookumchuck is a great way up LaFayette, very lightly used. Only saw a few other hikers, until the hordes on the summit.
