Well, it's hard to tell what we picked up here at the foot of the Sandwich Range, but I'd venture 18-20"...the winds came in last night and blew things around decently.

Not quite as much snow as was forecast, the snow was very icy and dense. Here in Lebanon, we got 13 inches which blew around. Highest amount I saw was Alexandria, NH at 17, and Sunapee at 16.5.

After doing a bunch of shoveling, I'd say the the depths ranged from 0" (wind tunnel of sorts) to 3'...on average 1.5-2 feet. The bottom half of the snow was a lighter powder, while the top portion was denser, a la windblown. No noticable sign of any non-snow (sleet/freezing rain/ice).

Gunstock 19"
Waterville Valley 14"
Loon 21" (gotta check that again.......)
Cannon 11"
Attitash 15"
Cranmore 11"
Wildcat 12"

Saddleback 16"
Sugarloaf 14"

I wondered about that 21" at Loon myself. You omitted, perhaps inadvertently:

King Pine 15" (near snowshoeing gems Green, Foss and Prospect Mtns. and Toll Hill)

Shawnee Peak 14-16" (Pleasant Mtn. in Brownfield, ME - a snowshoe/views mecca)

Attitash is now claiming 22"(had to keep up with Loon!).

I was able to sneak out to Sunapee on Monday, but really wish that I could be on the slopes today. Instead I'll be shoveling my roof for my lunch break.

Dang! Wish I could get up North this weekend. We had 5 inches of about 10,000% water content snow/ice. I know, because each shovelful weighed a ton. :)

Enjoy it this weekend. Early indications are that we could get a pretty big rainstorm next Mon night/Tuesday that could ruin the fun.

The models seem to be trending colder, with the storm potentially comming up the coast, so I am thinking big snows;).

Someone will have to start a new thread!

I REALLLLLLLLY hope you're right, but there are a few meteorologists with IQs of about 300 on another board I lurk on who say no chance. I don't have the background to say with any authority.

Well, that's for sure, no matter what! :D

As of right now, the storm Tuesday is going to be a huge mess of snow, sleet, freezing rain, then plain rain, all the way to the Canadian Border. It's a large storm, depening to 968 Mill or so and lasting about 2 days. It needs to be watched, but at this point, have very low hopes for much White.

Franconia @ 1200' got about 12" although it's very difficult to measure because it blew and drifted so. I drove the length of I-93 today and it looked like there was more in Campton than further north but very hard to tell.

For us up north, at least, this is the first January I can remember in a long time with no thaw.

Huh. Yeah. Still loads of variability in the models, but a big flood is looking less likely (whew!) Now I just need the models to predict that somehow I will get 3 days off from work, and family asking me to take an impromptu trip to the Whites.

...yeah, I know, somebody's gonna say that you're asking for trouble if you start hanging around with models... :) :)
