Date of Hike: 2/2/08
Trail Conditions: Packed snow, but drifting. Good snow bridge (easy water crossings). A few postholes (very deep) from barebooters who followed us.
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes are essential
Comments: Very windy on Liberty, then we only tagged Flume. Some wore face protection. No VFTT, but great views of trees chock-full of ice chunks - very cool! Plus, the views OF the top when getting close to Liberty were awesome!!! This was an AMC group led by Hiker Ed & Sam - a really great group!!!
