Date of Hike: Mon. 10-26-09
Trails: C' Clockwise loop via Falling Waters, Franconia Ridge, and Old Bridle Path.
The trails were in good condition today. Mainly dry with some small scattered patches of ice. Really nothing to worry about. The stream crossings were easy to cross. There were no blow downs. No traction was necessary.
Some wind layers were needed today due to the gusty winds on the ridge, but since the temps were mild and there was a sunny blue sky, it really wasn't bad. Nothing else needed today except maybe a French/English Phrase Book.
Lots of people out today. I probably saw about 25 in various groups.
