Lonesome Lake trail is a sidewalk. stabilicers were perfect, but unnecessary. From Lake up to Kinsman Ridge was also well packed. I attempted to get up to the viewpoint just south of that crossing, but the snow was too soft/deep and the branches were relentless. w/ snowshoes and more patience, its certainly passable. Was going to take Hi-Cannon down from the Lake, but lost the trail. There did not appear to be anything packed out, but I didn't look too hard.
Some traction is nice, but not vital. snowshoes on kinsman ridge trail i'm guessing are required, but i did not venture north at all.
Beautiful day and some fun sliding down to the lake.
