Completed Long Path Section from Nyack to Piermont. Dry conditons, no mud. Brilliant sky by 12 pm. Such a trip report would not usually be postworthy as no significant summit is involved but from the south side of Clausland I had an excellent view of the Empire State building in one direction and Ramapo Mountain in another. Trail follows an interesting patchwork of State, County and Local parks to make a nice walk with a few steep pitches. Returned to Nyack via Rail Trail thru Piermont and Grandview (Hader Park Trail)
