Trail Conditions:
Trails from Deer Brook to Lower wolf jaw were wet and slippery- but no major mud spots. Bugs attacked me as I got out of my car, but subsided in the woods- it was pretty breezy out.
Special Equipment needed:
Water proof boots a must- all of the undergrowth was soaked, and sections of the trail had running water. Gaiters helped ward off pricker bushes early on, and kept my pants dry.
Comments:
The weather held out for the round trip! Not much for views on top though, and I didn't stay very long due to a chilly wind sweeping the top.
