Macomb/Carson/Grace 3/16/08

[Adk Ladies]

Barebooted to trailhead at Elk Lake - snowshoes all day long from there. Trail well defined. Macomb slide had a few inches of fresh powder and was manageable with snowshoes. Trees coated with thick layers of ice and hard to push through on the herdpaths. We started at 6:30am and were back out at 6:30pm. Thanks to all who broke trail before us. Met Joe heading over to Hough so that is broke out also.
