Route: Winter parking -> Slide Brook & Macomb Slide -> South -> East -> South -> Hough -> Lillian Brook -> Out
In from the winter parking lot, up Slide Brook in bare boots until base of Macomb slide. Wore crampons to summit of Macomb (Microspikes would have been insufficient). Stayed in Microspikes for remainder of the day until returning to Summer parking lot. Not enough snow to make snowshoes useful (though we got a fair amount of precipitation at the motel in Schroon Lake so who knows what came down at elevation).
