Date of Hike: Wed. 11-18-09
Trails: Valley Way, Osgood, Gulfside, Airline, Scar, Durand Loop, Valley Way.
Some spotty ice on the Valley Way. No ice above tree line. Airline had more ice off the ridge and below the tree line. Scar Trail in great shape. One or two head banging blow downs on the valley way. All in all the trails were in great shape with no need for any traction.
Beautiful sunny warm day with no wind and only a few people on the ridge. Nice hiking with Hiker Ed, Bill, and Sue today. Kudos to Bill for finishing his November Grid on Adams today.
