5-4-13: Howker Ridge Trail
Views member IQuest has posted a far more comprehensive report on newenglandtrailconditions.com but if people are looking for a less traveled and very scenic ascent this trail is in great shape. We passed two people on the way up and didn't see a soul until we were on our way to Adams. We barebooted most of the way but found snowshoes helpful for part of the ascent. I would not say they are necessary however.
