This was my first time hiking Madison Gulf Trail and it's a new favorite. The trail is now snow-free and there is very little mud. The trailbed shows very little use.
Becca M and I had a wonderful time...perfect hiking weather and a beautiful trail. Here's a view from the tentsite rock into Great Gulf.
beautiful mixed forest along the Madison Gulf Trail...we heard lots of songbirds...wood thrush, hermit thrush, winter wren, white throated sparrow all filled the forest with music to hike by...
the lovely Becca emerging from treeline...
perfect weather for us to vsiit the summits of Adams and Madison. The Pine Link Trail has the same conditions now.
Thanks for an awesome day, Becca!!!
happy trails
