Madison via Valley Way 4/9/08

Trail well packed, traction used going up to hut. I continued with 6 pointers but partner barebooted the rest of the trip up & down. Snow shoes carried but never used. Trail was a little slippery and uneven above tent platforms on ascent but easy on descent due to warming. Warm with low winds made for a great day. Good views with hazy skies for about an hour around noon, with skies then clearing again.
