Maine Camping

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a campground between Saddleback/The Horn and the Bigelows.
Probably camping for a week or so and working on the NE111 peaks.

try http://www.gopinescamping.com/ . The roadhouse hostel and motel is very affordable also. I believe you can still camp out in and around the bigelows for next to or nothing.The area is very special with stunning scenery,enjoy.This past winter people would just car camp at trailheads because it was so quiet.[not including ski scene at sugarloaf]

I'll second that. The sites are spacious, spaced out with a private feeling, and it's absolutely incredible to be among the enormous pines. They're right on Flagstaff Lake, too, and have kayaks available; take one out for amazing views of the Bigelows.
