Maine Winter Maniac Camp ... an idea, anyone interested?

So I'm wondering if there's anyone who would want to basically set up shop around Stratton, Maine for around a week next February and make forays out for the Saddlebacks, Bigelows, Crockers & neighboring peaks in a series of long days and perhaps as necessary an overnight or two?

I'm thinking this could be a seriously fun operation if we had somewhere warm to return to each night for hot stew, kitchen music, and beer.

Maine Roadhouse might be of interest for such an excursion. I don't know about next February, but I'm contemplating such an excursion for some time this summer. Anyway I think the Maine Roadhouse is open all year round.

A group of us do this each year and we use the Roadhouse as our "base camp". It is open year round and has all the needed luxuries except an oven (does have a stovetop and microwave).

I'd be down. Couldn't take a full week, but probably 3 days or so. I'd need to figure out how to get up there though...

I guess the thing to do is lay some real plans at the beginning of the season next year. Stay tuned.
