Went up Marcy from ADK loj road, no snow on lower part, some snow/ice on the upper part, not too muddy at all, microspikes are a must (however there are two young army guys went up without any traction, they went very slow though, everyone else had microspikes or crampons) beautiful day, sunny, calm and saw about 30 hikers, we started at 6:30AM with a group of 13 and got back at between 3:30-6:00PM, 15 miles total.
