Stayed at Grace Camp 1/9, party of 3. On 1/10 Broke trail to Marcy from Bushnell Falls to jct. with Haystack trail. Trail to summit well traveled. Broke trail from Marcy to Skylight. Found entrance to herd path up Gray, but snow was deep and lost trail frequently. Our tracks eventually go to the top, but with lots of side detours, spruce traps, and mostly off the herd trail. Broke trail from Gray directly to Marcy--didn't want to loose the elevation or follow our lousy trail down Gray again. Snowshoes the whole time.
