Departed 7:30am via Flowed Lands. Heavy rainfall the previous night made for some very wet trails. One of the bridges was iced over and we crossed on hands and knees. Once we arrived at the cairn marking the herd path we were all glad for our gaters and waterproof boots - the brook was running very high and each time we crossed (10 times in all) we had to scout out the best crossing. (hiking poles were a big plus) Brought stabilicers, but barebooted the whole day. Summit had a tiny marker up high on tree. Took 11 hours to complete hike. Great hike!
