May 24 between David Logan and US4 trail dry with little on the trail except leaves. Great treadway, trail always easy top follow before the trees brush out. Ten backpackers, 17 dayhikers, three dogs. May 25 between David Logan and Brandon Gap found trail in same excellent shape. Small patch of snow on trail north of Bloodroot Gap - one foot deep, 10 linear feet along trail. All ther moose in central vermont must be using the five miles south of Brandon Gap for a linear privy.
