Trails, 19 mile, Carter Dome, Carter Moriah

Conditions: Deep snow
Special Equipment: snowshoes , waterproof jackets and boots
Comments: 7 of us broke trail from the the parking area all the way to Middle Carter. Fresh snow depth was in excess of 1 ' especially as we started up Carter Dome trail and continued that way with brief respites in depth until the summit of Middle Carter. The upside were the views from the ridge, which were spectacular and uninterrupted by trees! Water crossings were easy.
