Three of us snowshoed up to the new Stratton Brook Hut on Jan 3 and spent two nights there. Yesterday, Jan 7th I went back in on skis to visit again just for lunch. Using my GoPro I made a short video to show this beautiful new hut. This is not intended to be a commercial promotion of the MHT system. On snowshoes it took us three hours in and two out. On skis yesterday I took 90 minutes to go in, and about 45 to ski out. The last mile in is pretty much all up hill, but a glorious ride out on a nicely groomed track set with a pair of tracks and plenty of room for turns or skating.

Yep, three hours for three old guys. I'm 73 myself. Rte 27 MHT Trailhead parking which is pretty much right across from the Sugarloaf Access road.
