A gorgeous day for a hike. After hiking less than a week before in the cold, this was a pleasant surprise. South Moat had little snow and was well packed. Snowshoes were very helpful across the top, as any previous tracks had disappeared in driting snow. Red Ridge had been packed by one previous hiker looping from N. Moat. Met a couple folks on the way down. Overall a wonderful day, minimal layers in blue sky conditions. Bare booted most, but shoes were very helpful up top.
