moderate hikes in white mountains?

Took a while to research but after seeing some pics of Pierce I had a weird feeling that I was there so I spend about 20 minutes going through the search button on this site and I find the 2005 winter gathering trip that I wrote....


you guessed it, I hiked Pierce that gathering with Carol and Puck (I think) and others....the day after I did my first snow shoe hike up Cabot which was freekin crazy with Townie, Skimom, HikerBob, and Poison Ivy


so now it looks like I'll do more reading about Moosilauke....

You've got alot of good suggestions, so I'll just add that I'm looking forward to crossing paths with you in the Whites!

I think you are finding out that the descents are much more gentle than they are in the Catskills and Daks.

Looks like this Mt Liberty, Flume idea is a good one that meets many ideas....

Tom.....it took 3 years to finish my v@B NY.....4 trips to finish V@B Vermont, if I started the NH V@B list it might be the end of my marriage or worse my car! But since I'm there I'll really think about it
