Trail Conditions: The trail was generally in good shape, with occasional patches that were wet, muddy, or icy. There was one large tree blown down across the trail, which could be walked underneath rather easily. The higher elevations had a mixture of icy rock and a minimal amount of snow.
Special Equipment Required: A walking stick or trekking poles would be helpful, but not required. We had microspikes, but they were not needed or used on this hike.
Comments: Stopped by the Cochran's Ski Sale in the morning at the Camels Hump School on the way to the trail. Great deals, nice people.... and way too tempting looking at all that gear.
