Trail to hut was consistent, well-packed snow with only a few icy spots and some exposed rocks right near the hut. One long ice stretch between the hut and the start of the Monroe Loop but on level terrain. Loop was mainly packed snow with minor icy sections and lots of bare ground/rocks on the summit ridge.
No crossing issues or serious blowdowns.
We wore crampons most of the day but others were getting by (barely) with Microspike ST's and snowshoes (below the hut). No postholing so snowshoes not required.
Beautiful but cold and windy day. The conditions for cramponing were about perfect. Cheers to Sarah in achieving the summit!
