Parked at Cog Lot. Lots of parking but was fairly full. Up Ammo which was packed powder. We all used microspikes up (No Snowshoes today) and they were fine. Snowshoes would help if we get any snow or you like the televators on the steeps which is most of the trail. At LoC Hut two put on crampons and the rest of us (3) stayed in spikes. Monroe was icy, snowy, rocky. Trip up and down went smoothly and winds were there but not that bad. Crawford over to Franklin and Eisenhower was more of the same with rocks, packed powder, a bit of loose powder and ice. On the south side of Eisenhower it was mostly snow or packed powder all the way to Pierce (be careful there is some ice) and Crawford Path was all packed powder. Sunny skies and lower than predicted winds made for a great way two peaks we needed and of course great company. Thanks to Beth, Steve and Greg. Wonderful day out.
