Trail Conditions: all in great shape, especially considering the weather this summer and the heavy traffic. Kudos to the DOC!
Special Equipment Required: Headlamp; warm, wind proof clothes
Comments: Optional - Left from Glencliff at about 2:30 and got to the summit at about 4:30 for the stunning light show (both natural and man-made!) and a beautiful sunrise (all natural!)
There's a small memorial flag on the summit signpost and I thought it just added to the beauty of the spot and experience.
No sign of Doc Benton.
