Few signs of previous travel on either trail with 6"-12" of fresh snow and frequent deeper drifting. A few blowdowns. Crossings were solid. At least the top of the C-M Trail toward Gorham was blown in with deep snow.
Snowshoes required and we wore them all day.
Tough wind chills today, particularly on the ridge. Lots of snow up high had all familiar features indiscernible. Breaking was arduous and the group definitely got its exercise! Stunning views, very clear. A satisfying day on this beautiful peak.
