Trail conditions: Quite varied from little snow down below...quite serious wet muddy leaves etc along the logging roads..running water higher up before CM trail..Pleanty of snow on Carter Moriah..I felt pretty wize using snowshoes even though i clanked across a ledge or 2..able to repair some barebooter mess
Equipment..some used microspikes..i did snowshoes and also barebooted down low for awhile..Wintry on summit som good protection needed
Comments..Nice winter day out as sabrina finishes her second round..quiet and beautiful snowdraped woods..saw a couple of ladies out but otherwize had the trails to ourselves...windsy and cold on the summit..,in teens with 15 - 20 mph wind
