Trail Conditions: Both trails a little wet and muddy (mostly towards the top), though not burdensomely so. Water crossings all a breeze.
Special Equipment Required: Bugspray, especially on the summit. The blackflies were ridiculous!
Comments: I ascended via Stony Brook and descended via Carter-Moriah (with a road walk between the two trailheads). The weather was a little too hot and humid for my liking, but the skies were clear and the views fantastic. The stretch between the Stony Brook/Carter-Moriah junction and the summit was particularly beautiful.
