Date of Hike: Sun 7/10
Trail Conditions: Superb - dry for all but a few muddly spots on Carter Moriah leading up to Moriah summit. Easy stream crossings.
Special Equipment Required: Bug juice, though not needed until 4 pm today (and we did without)
Comments: Spectacular views! Met 3 parties doing variants of a Wild River + Moriah trek. Special hi to the friendly guy at the summit with the black Asolos. - Note: On the ascent, the blue trail marker paint at the actual stream crossings is absent or faded to invisibility although we deduced them fine. Maybe it's me but especially on the 1st crossing it was unclear if the trail continued by the brook, or forded it. - Stonybrook Trail adopter: if you ID yourself I'll come help you with this sometime as my 'giving back' project sometime in gratitude for all that the trails have given me.
