Mt. Major 4-10-09
Conditions: For all of those looking for snow/ice free walking, this is a good start. Trail was open, ledges clean of ice & snow. Some patches of snow in the woods, but completly bare bootable
Comments : great day, spectacular views, last big patches of ice on the lake, snow covered Washington, Monroe visible in the distance. Saw a few hikers, but had the summit solo for 1/2 an hour.
