Mount Moosilauke Via Benton Trail

My dog and I set off to summit Moosilauke via the Benton Trail Sunday 5-11-08 very dry for about 1.4 miles after that snow steadily got deeper. I would guess around 2.7 miles the snow became too much to go any further with out snow shoes but beautiful day and hike with my dog none the less. Hard to turn back when you can see the top last hike without snow shoes before June in the Whites! ZC
