Carriage Road, to the Summit and down the Gorge Brook Trail, temps in the high 60's and low 70's very warm and wet. Snow starts at 2800 feet on the Carraige Trail, Coming down there is snow 99% of the way to the lodge.
Snow shoes would have been work due to the mono rail, if you could stay on it would be fine other wise walking like you were on a horse.
Lots of Moose Pelts but no moose.
Not a sole out on the trail. Gorge Brook is running pretty good, nice to have bridge to cross.
You will need snow shoes from now on due to melting. If you stepped off trail is was waist deep.
A great day to be out, Thanks Nathan for joining me.
