Date of Hike: Sunday, February 24, 2008
Trail Conditions: Hard packed snow easy to travel without snowshoes (a few added post holes between peaks, but nothing that made us want them). Somewhat slick under the powder layer on top.
Special Equipment Required: Crampons/traction - possibly useful; Swiss sled - incredibly fun to have
Comments: AMAZING weather! Could not have asked for a better day. Sledding down was definitely the way to go and made for a quick 5 hour round trip.
