Here's a short one I did up Mt. Tecumseh a few weeks back on the first day of Autumn. This was the day after my Semi Pemi and while I was sore I was also surprised how well my body bounced back from the effort. It had been probably 25 years since I hiked Tecumseh from the Tripoli Road side. It was another early hike in the dark as I hoped to reached the summit before anyone else (success) so that I could fly my drone (failure). Well once it got lighter it was clear there would be no views at the top - it was in the clouds with enough moisture to make the trees drip. While I didn't get to use my regular drone I was able to use my small one to get some cool shots on the way up and down. My legs began to really feel it on the way down. Ultimately it was the four hour ride home that made me the most sore.

I would like to do a loop over both Osceola's and Tecumseh. I'll probably bushwhack down Tecumseh Brook from the ski area to Tripoli Road, and then take Greeley Ponds Trail back to the Kanc. Does anybody know if there are any good legal stealth campsites along the way? (I'm assuming Osceola Vista might not be the quietest place?)
