Date of Hike:11/23/13
Trail Conditions: Below 4,000 ft mostly just a dusting-above all snow. Close to whiteout conditons above tree line have to follow trail very carefully to stay on track.
Special Equipment Required: Micro spikes and also took full crampons and ice axe but did not need them. Hiking poles are good as well. Full winter clothing required above tree line +All the standard emergeny gear.
Comments: I like this direct route to the summit of Washington. Early start required to get down before night fall. Started at 6am off trail at 4pm!
