Vermont Center for Ecostudies (the Bicknells Thrush Study) is launching a new protocol to study 11 mountain bird species for 2011.

The site has a list of routes in NY, VT, NH, ME as well as topos. This is a great way to combine hiking, camping and birds.

All of the routes have been changed. So people that had routes this past year will need to register for a new route. the protocol seems to be a bit more involved.
