Date of Hike: 07/11/2013
Trail Conditions: wider trails and a dry night & sunny dayin the central Adirondacks made for a great hike. Any downed trees were a non-issue, bugs not too bad either.
Special Equipment Required: sunglasses and a taste for wild blueberries! Still should be in season a few more days.
Comments: Optional – a complete turn of events, at the end of the day, I was invigorated and ready to hike some more. Had I down Seymour as originally planned, I probably would have been sick of the mud & thinking about whether I really wanted to be a 46er & 115er (or 111) Great views of Gore, Snowy, wetlands and the central region.
