Do Over on Dix
Okay, so I decided that I was going hiking yesterday. Mrs Alpine decided that she would make the most of her newfound 46'er status by staying in bed!
But she did offer up a hot cup of tea & some well wishes at the door and bid adios as I left to go reclimb Dix. I was after the pics that we couldn't take last Saturday. I wanted to send 'em to everyone that hoofed it up there and got skunked; especially for our friends from Mass who don't get up here as much as they'd like. (Nor as much as we'd like.)
So off I went on a lovely morning...........
And I did take a few pics. Enjoy 'em!

I had the summit to myself for 20 minutes until another solo guy showed up. He was a little too chatty tho, so I moved to the Beckhorn. I hadn't ever snoozed there anyway - now I have and I highly recommend it. Up there, I took my favorite pic of the day.
