Mt Adams - ???

I am working on my Winter 48 and have completed 47. The last peak that I need is Mt Adams. I'd like to get it soon. I'm not a fan of hiking alone in the Winter especially a peak like Adams. I'm not sure what the weather will be like this up coming weekend, but if someone is planning a trip to Adams and wouldn't mind company I'd like to come along.

Ok! And you can PM me if you like? I was going to try to cram a bunch into this weekend if the weather cooperates. I was going to try to start with Lincoln and Lafayette on Friday if weather permits....

With 4 peaks to go in winter, I also need Adams and may be available any day this long weekend. What day were you considering Brian? I'm open but obviously it will depend upon the forecast.

The person that I hiked with for most of my Winter 48 has this Friday off. The NOAA forecast for Adams looks kind of promising. Right now the forecast is "A 30 percent chance of snow showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 22. Windy" Out of Friday through Monday, Friday is the warmest day, partly sunny and the winds are not forecasted to be very windy or damaging winds. We'll decide Thursday afternoon or evening if we are going to do Adams. If we have time maybe we'll bag Madison again.

Hello,

I am all set with Adams. I was able to bag it on Friday 1/17 with the help of John Williams. Also thanks to marysgirl for accompanying us up to the the hut on her way to Madison. We had a beautiful sunny day above the treeline (and above the clouds).
