Mt. Agassiz (2,370 ft) can be reached on foot via an 0.8 mile private road that leaves the east side of NH 142 about 1.0 mile south of its junction with US 302 in Bethlehem village. The owner of the road (and the private residence atop the summit) generously allows hikers to walk the road to the summit and enjoy the views. But, the rights of the property owner should be strictly respected by staying away from all buildings on the summit and using only the designated viewing area. Park on the shoulder of NH 142 (not on the private road).

Some segments of the road are quite steep and are slippery when wet from recent rain, dew, etc.

On a clear day, there are good views from the summit. Today was a hazy day, and so, hazy photos are located HERE!!
